ABOUT THETA DELTA CHAPTER

The vision of the founders of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity came to the campus of the University of Alabama on March 23, 1976. The vision was lead by the Honorable Bro. Ed Walton, the founder of the Theta Delta Chapter. The Charter for the Chapter became official on March 23, 1976, including the names of the five
Charter Members: Carl D. Cook, Kambeya wa Kambeya, Alfred Earl Page, Jeffrey Lee Holsey, and Billy Ray Henderson. The chapter was anointed as the THETA DELTA CHAPTER. Since that time, Theta Delta has been a beacon of light to the community, and produced some of the most influential men around the University and the world.

Our History

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. was founded January 9, 1914 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC by three men the most honorable Brother A. Langston Taylor, the most honorable Brother Leonard F. Morse, and the most honorable Brother Charles I. Brown.
